The Senior Data Analyst is responsible for creating data products that supports end users at Veeam to drive data based decision making. The Analyst would be part of Data Analytics team and work on specific department which could be Sales, Corporate Metrics, Renewal etc. This person represents the Data Analytics team in cross-functional projects with CorpIT, Acquisition Marketing, Renewals, Executives and other business functions in relation to building data products using Business Intelligence Tools like Tableau. As Senior Data Analyst, the individual will work with highest level of organizations (Director & above), often without supervision, and work towards solving business problems. Responsibilities: Understand the organizational KPIs and metrics and leverage it for impacting Organization strategy by efficient Performance Management Dashboard. Understand the existing challenges and opportunities faced by the business and resolve by creating Dashboard and visualization data products. Report to Manager and translate user requirements into POC in Excel for short term agreements and build out in Tableau for long term scaling. Create interactive Dashboards with multiple level of drills-downs, different types of charts etc. Understand data security challenges and create data products that scale accordingly (build a standard Dashboard that can be consumed at multiple levels using row level security) Write complex SQL scripts to pull data from DWH for analyzing information outside the scope of Dashboard. Collaborate within Data Analytics domain experts to pull data from underlying business functions (Renewals, Sales, Marketing etc.) Collaborate with CorpIT Data Engineering team for automation of data, new data pulls, data marts, aggregation requests etc. Work with CorpIT for any Platform assistance like Mobile compatibility, user set up etc. Create documentation around User Requirements, Technical documents around SQL/BI Tool and any support task. Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree required (Business Administration, Finance, MIS, or related field, Advanced degree highly preferred) 6+ years’ experience in Business Intelligence & Reporting Tools like Tableau 6+ years’ experience creating Dashboards, Publishing Dashboards, creating extracts 4+ years’ experience of writing SQLs to generate extracts using Hyper Excel & PowerPoint expertise Excellent communication and analytical skills Prior Experience working with SaaS systems like Adobe Analytics, Sales Force etc. Strong background with Performance Management, Executive Information Systems, Management Information Systems in the past Experience in understanding end user requirement, including Senior Leadership, and translate into technical specs Self-starter with ability to work with highest level of organization under Manager, Metrics Background in user training, user communication, lunch-and-learn with end users What We Offer: Medical, dental, and vision through INS.
