This is a 10 month, full-time position requiring the ability to work independently for approximately 40 hours per week. A professional, distraction-free home office during the workday is required. Core hours are between 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM, while allowing for some flexibility as determined by school needs. Residency Requirement: Resident of Pennsylvania; residents of other states will be considered on a case by case basis. Salary will commensurate with experience The Reading Interventionist advances student achievement by delivering targeted academic interventions that accelerate learning and address identified skill gaps in a virtual learning environment. Through data-informed decision making, individualized and small-group instruction, progress monitoring, and collaboration with educators, families, and support staff, the Interventionist helps students develop the knowledge and skills necessary to achieve academic success. This role promotes equitable access to learning, supports school-wide intervention efforts, and utilizes evidence-based practices to improve student outcomes while meeting organizational expectations and instructional goals. Essential Functions Perform other duties as assigned. Supervisory Responsibilities This position has no regular supervisory responsibilities. Minimum Required Qualifications All PDE required clearances for school-based personnel Minimum Required Skill Set Demonstrated competencies with general technology, Microsoft Office Platforms (Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Teams, etc.), Google Platforms, Zoom, etc. Preferred Qualifications Masters Degree and Level 2 Certification preferred Certificates and Licenses Reading- Reading Specialist PK-12 Work Environment The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
